For the April meeting, Baxter Smith will talk about finishing with dyes. He will also share his techniques for embellishing with burning, as shown on the platter in the photo above.
Mike Okner will demonstrate his Graeme Priddle-style wood burner. He will also tell us about some of the dyes available there at Woodcraft.
There will be two Graeme Priddle-style wood “vaporizers” available for folks to try out. (Please bring appropriate safety gear, such as safety glasses and gloves.)
Additionally, Steve Childers will give an update on the AAW Chapter Challenge, AND we will have Show & Tell this month. Please bring your latest work for Show & Tell!
